Instrumental, Voice Recitals to be Held in December
Raritan Valley Community College’s Arts & Design department will present two Music Students Recitals on December 13. Both concerts, which are open to the community, will be held in the Welpe Theatre at the College’s Branchburg campus.
The concerts will feature performances by music majors in the department’s Associate of Fine Arts degree program, as well as music students from studio and ensemble classes. The recitals’ programs will include solo, accompanied, and ensemble pieces, featuring an exceptional variety of musical styles and traditions.
An Instrumental Recital, performed by students of RVCC faculty members Abraham Alinea, Greg Giannascoli, Dr. Alexandra Joan, Karl Latham, Justin Lee, Laura Oltman, Jeremy Sweet, and Benjamin Weise, will be held at 1 p.m.
RVCC instrumental students scheduled to perform include: Gabriella Abbate, William Bang, Joshua Chinchilla, Amy Cook, Kevin Cruz, Damon DeAngelo, Sydni Fields, Ryan Landrieu, Joseph Lascala, Daniel Lopez-Ortiz, Linda Matos, Eyllot Paredes Cruz, Spencer Poe, Nathaniel Richemond, Daniel Santos, Trent Stoppard, Aliz Thomas Abarca, Jackson Twombly, Daniel Upia, and Zaire Wilson.
A second Voice Recital, featuring the students of RVCC faculty members Dr. Will Berman and Sarah Stine, will be held at 3 p.m.
Vocal students set to perform include: Maria Avila, Alicia Chapman, Damon DeAngelo, Cynthia DiMarco, Alex Kesselhaut, Keturah Lockley, Sarah Stefaniak, Kathleen Strong, and C’andra Tedder.
Both recitals will feature Dr. Alexandra Joan on piano.
