RVCC to Present Music Students Recital

Raritan Valley Community College’s (RVCC) Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Department will present a Music Students Recital, Wednesday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m., in the Welpe Theatre at the College’s Branchburg campus. The program will be coordinated by Professor of Music Tony Strong, a full-time member of RVCC’s Visual and Performing Arts Department.

The program will feature performances by music majors in the Department’s Associate of Fine Arts and Associate of Arts (Music Option) degree programs, which offer curricula of essential music and general education requirements. The recital’s program will include solo, accompanied and ensemble pieces, spanning an engaging diversity of musical styles and traditions. Original student compositions and arrangements also will be highlighted.

Music student performers will include Devin Anthony-Johnson, piano (Piscataway); Spencer Bautista, vocalist (Warren); Starr Celeste, guitar (Flemington); Christopher DeCarlo, trumpet (Fanwood); Andi Fairchild, vocalist (Millington); Patrick Gardner, vocalist (Bridgewater); Kevin Izquiero, guitar (Hillside); Gillian Koch, vocalist (Flemington); Jonathan Levering, drums (Flemington); Mia Mazzariello, piano (Stewartsville); Maxwell Mellies, alto saxophone (North Plainfield); Steven Pettinelli, bass trombone (Alpha); Nicolette Policastro, soprano (Clinton); Carnel St. Louis, drums (Sayreville); and Jason Zujkowski, baritone saxophone (Manville).
