SAT Prep Course Slated in August

Spaces are still available in Raritan Valley Community College’s SAT Preparation course, which will be held Monday-Friday, August 13-17, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., at the College’s Branchburg campus.

Geared toward 11th and 12th grade students, the course offers an accelerated and comprehensive approach to SAT standardized test preparation. The goal is not only to prepare students for the SAT, but also to offer them enhanced critical thinking and academic skills, test-taking strategies and motivation that serve as a catalyst for improved academic performance.

Homework is required. All materials included in the $288 fee.

Spaces also are available in a variety of RVCC classes for children and teens, ages 6-16, during the week of August 13-17. Topics include App creation, writing, fashion sewing, chess, computer animation, TV hosting, time management, public speaking, STEM challenges, jewelry design and more.
