Raritan Valley Community College’s Arts & Design department will present a student theatre production of Circle Mirror Transformation, a play by Annie Baker, November 3-6, at 7 p.m. The event, which is free of charge and open to the public, will be held in the Welpe Theatre at the College’s Branchburg campus. Masks are required in all RVCC facilities.

Winner of the 2010 Obie Award for Best New Play, Circle Mirror Transformation depicts four lost New Englanders who enroll in a six-week community center drama class. Playwright Baker has described the work as “a strange little naturalistic meditation on theatre and life and death and the passing of time.”

The production features the following RVCC students:

Katie Semon (Alpha)
Curtis Glover (Franklin)
Hannah Soria (Franklin)
Alyssa Gaetan (North Plainfield)
Jacob Robinson (Franklin)
Omar Ahmed (Dunellen)
Genevieve Tenney (Montgomery Township)
Rolan Refugio Ramirez (New Brunswick)
Isis Sherlock (Branchburg)
Nuala Fitzsimmons (Pittstown)

Admission is free of charge. For additional information, contact RVCC’s Arts & Design department at 908-218-8876 or visit https://www.raritanval.edu/arts.

RVCC is located at 118 Lamington Road in Branchburg, NJ. For further information, visit www.raritanval.edu.
