People looking to upgrade their skills as they enter or reenter the workforce will benefit from Raritan Valley Community College’s online professional development programs this summer. Offered through the College’s Workforce Training Center, the virtual classes are taught “live” by subject matter experts.

RVCC’s professional development programs focus on such topics as honing the job search, communication, project management, and critical Microsoft Office skills. The classes run as two- and three-hour compact webinars to increase one’s marketability to employers in today’s competitive labor market.

Participants will be able to master the interview, enhance their resumes, and explore effective tools and resources with the Job Search Guide course on June 23, or streamline Critical Thinking & Problem Solving skills on June 16; both will be held from 10 a.m. to noon.

In addition, advanced English-as-a-Second-Language courses will be offered in an online format for those looking to continue experiencing the classroom virtually.

RVCC also offers free online Microsoft Office training courses for New Jersey employees to upgrade basic skillsets. For a complete schedule of courses, visit www.raritanval.edu/career-training/njbia-free-training.
