Raritan Valley Community College’s Arts & Design department will present The Wolves by Sarah DeLappe, April 15-17, at 7 p.m. The performances, which are free of charge and open to the public, will be held in the Welpe Theatre at the College’s Branchburg campus.

Sarah DeLappe’s play, a Pulitzer Prize finalist, depicts the story of nine girls preparing for their indoor soccer games. As they warm up for their games together, they navigate their lives as suburban teens—dealing with every adolescent’s many questions and uncertainties,  rivalries, tragedies, and wins and losses. Their concerns pour out in overlapping dialogue. The Wolves was a New York Times Critic’s Pick when it debuted in 2017.

The play is being directed by RVCC Professor of Theatre Dennis Russo. David Porter and Kenny Savoy are providing set design and construction.

The cast and crew consist of the following RVCC students and Theatre majors:

Gretchen Albrecht – Washington

Fallon Billy – Bridgewater

Ari Bowie –  Somerset

Kelis Carey – Hillsborough

Grace Del Rossi – Stewartsville

Kelly Deo – Califon

Alexis Estrella – Bridgewater
