Work Full-time & Earn a Degree in 2 Years

Are you interested in going to college but don’t think you have the time to earn a degree?
Check out RVCC’s new Adult Fast Track program. You’ll be able to earn an associate degree in just two years taking classes in the evening and online.
After completing the program, you’ll be able to seamlessly transfer to Ramapo College to pursue a bachelor’s degree in communication or social science. And you’ll be able to take all your classes close to home at RVCC’s Branchburg campus.
How does the program work?
We’re breaking the mold on how traditional college classes are offered. The Fast Track program offers intensive seven-week classes, so you can accelerate your progress toward earning a degree. You’ll take classes year-round with breaks for holidays and a summer vacation in August. The courses include traditional classroom instruction at our Branchburg campus and online classes. All courses are offered in the evening or online.
What are the other benefits?
The program is specially designed to serve the needs of adults who are juggling work and family responsibilities. As an adult age 24 or older, you’ll receive personalized attention and academic support to help you succeed. A dedicated advisor—who understands the special needs of adult students—will help you make a successful transition back to school and will provide advising and support throughout your time at RVCC. Tutoring is available online or in person.
You’ll be part of a learning community of like-minded adults. Together you can help, encourage and support each other through the program. The curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of adult learners who bring to the classroom real world learning and experience.
What degrees are being offered?
RVCC’s Adult Fast Track program offers two degree options: an Associate of Arts in Communication Studies or an Associate of Arts in Social Science. The associate degrees will smoothly transfer into Ramapo College’s Bachelor of Arts, Contemporary Arts/Professional Communication Accelerated Major or Social Science Accelerated Major. You’ll be able to take Ramapo classes at RVCC’s campus and complete your BA in two years taking evening and online classes.
