Galileo Scholars

Scholarships for students majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Since 2003, close to 600 students have received more than $1 million in Galileo scholarships. Galileo scholars receive more than financial support. Scholars benefit from career counseling, workshops and special events, and academic advising. Galileo Scholars are highly regarded on campus and in the community as top STEM students.  The scholarships are funded by the RVCC Foundation and a grant from the National Science Foundation.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for consideration you must:
• Have declared a major in a STEM discipline, including physical and life sciences, engineering/engineering technologies, computer/information sciences, and mathematics (AS degrees and certificates)
• Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Be enrolled in at least 6 credits each semester

How to Apply
 

1. To apply please visit raritanval.awardspring.com.   

2. Submit your application to the Financial Aid Office. Applications are accepted anytime and are awarded at the beginning of each semester or at other times of the academic year as additional funding becomes available.

3. Financial Aid will notify you by email if you have been accepted into the program.
