General and Adult Information Sessions, Campus Tours Set

Learn about all Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) has to offer by attending an Information Session in March at the College’s Branchburg campus. General Information Sessions and campus tours are scheduled for Friday, March 2, 10-11 a.m. (Conference Center, Room 102); Friday, March 9, 10-11 a.m. (Conference Center, Room 101); Thursday, March 15, 4-6 p.m. (Atrium, College Center, lower level); and Friday, March 23, 10-11 a.m. (Conference Center, Room 102) During the sessions, RVCC Admissions specialists will provide information about:

• Enrolling in classes this summer or next fall

• Programs designed to help students transfer to top colleges and universities in New Jersey, across the country, and even in Europe

• Career training programs, designed in partnership with local industry, that can be completed in a year or less

• The admissions process

• Paying for college, including financial aid opportunities

Special lunch-hour Information Sessions for Adults who are considering returning to college or have never attended college will be held Friday, March 16, from 12:15-12:45 p.m. and from 1:15-1:45 p.m. (Conference Center, Room 101). Additional Information Sessions for Adults will be held Saturday, March 10, with individual, 30-minute meetings beginning at 9, 9:45, and 10:30 a.m. (Conference Center, Room 101), and Monday, March 26, 3:30-4:30 p.m. (Conference Center, Room 101). Aside from general admissions information, the sessions will focus on transferring college credits, earning credits for life experience, and making a successful transition back to school after being away from the classroom for years.
