Adults looking to return to school to continue their education or train for a new career may take advantage of scholarships at Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) in Branchburg. The RVCC Foundation has several scholarships that are specifically geared toward non-traditional, older students.

Scholarships are for varying amounts and are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. Some may have specific due dates. The College also partners with other organizations that provide scholarship support for non-traditional students at RVCC. The following scholarship is an external scholarship to support RVCC students:

J.S. Henderson Scholarship Fund
Established in 1986 in honor of Jessamine Henderson and her work in adult education, this scholarship is awarded to a student who is 21 or older by 9/1/2018 and a resident of Somerset or Hunterdon County. Applicants must demonstrate the need for financial aid and show that they are serious about pursuing a career-related program of study. For additional information and to receive an online application, visit www.hendersonscholarship.org or contact Mike Goldberg, mikegold722@gmail.com. Applications must be received by March 15.
