Business Career Night to be Presented

The public is invited to attend a Business Career Night at Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC), Wednesday, April 11, from 6-8 p.m. Sponsored by the College’s Business and Public Service Department, the program will offer prospective students, current RVCC students and community members an overview of the variety of careers available in business. The event, which is free of charge, will be held in the Conference Center at the College’s Branchburg campus.

 A panel of speakers representing career areas such as Finance, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Sales, and Supply Chain Management will discuss their respective fields and the skills, as well as the education and training required for success.  Representatives from such companies as Readington Farms/Wakefern (Supply Chain Management), AIG Private Client Group (Finance), Suburban Golf Club (Accounting), Chick-fil-A (General Management/Entrepreneur) and MetLife (RVCC Alumnus/Rutgers Graduate) will be on hand to offer their expertise.

 After the presentations, attendees are invited to participate in breakout sessions with the panelists where they can receive more specific information about their respective areas.

 Those attending also will be also able to speak with RVCC faculty to learn more about the College’s Business degree and certificate programs.
